Companies and organizations have to face two big challenges today. One is digitalization and the second is sustainability. Knowing the digital world and understanding digital strategies is key for companies to survive in a market that is increasingly changing.
New products come out faster and faster and the international competition is bigger. The new “digital natives” audiences knows the digital world perfectly and expects from a company that not only knows it but also can apply best practices. Therefore an online marketing and / or a digital business is necessary to adapt to this new economic environment.
The course is designed to transmit the knowledge, tools and skills necessary to face this change and to prepare the organization for the digital world and the challenges of the 21st century
Objectives and results
The course objectives are to create a knowledge base about the challenges of the 21st century in the digital world. As one pillar of sustainability has to be the economic, this course wants to transmit the knowledge necessary for the change in the organization against digitalization. More importantly, this course has a very practical approach to acquire the key capabilities.
We will know the platforms, e-shops and “must have” elements of a website to understand the basis of electronic commerce. Then you will go into detail in the types and tools of online marketing. This will be known the good Web design for e-commerce, SEM / SEO, social media, content marketing and story telling as well as Online Branding and online reputation.
To handle the change you need to measure the change. Therefore, we will see how digital analytics applied to a digital business works and we will know different KPIs of electronic commerce
To better understand the key elements for an online marketing strategy and / or digital business we go into detail in case studies. To conclude the issue of sustainability and ethics online we present that it is a sustainable and ethical marketing.
As a result of all this work, a practical workshop designed to meet the real needs of the company will be carried out in the final project.
Throughout the course, homeworks will be carried out on each concept or issue explained.
