Beyond Circular Economy

Nowadays you hear a lot about Circular Economy and how many policies around the globe are aiming at adopting a circular economy action plan. Besides, the current crisis of COVID-19 has brought up many topics that need to be dealt with, mentioning climate change and loss of biodiversity just as two examples. The whole economic system comes under scrutiny and many current ideas and models are questioned.

 

In this online seminar we are talking about permaculture and circular economy principles. We first provide a short introduction into what a circular economy is and what the main ideas are and then show how permaculture design can provide solutions and actually go beyond circular economy,
